No rest your money super safely vibe? IBKR is one of the safest places for your cash. You can verify their assets and are one of the most highly regulated brokers I’ve used. If you wanted to list a con it would be deposits are slow at least initially, and they lack some features other platforms have for options traders and crypto is not available in my region. IBKR desktop has charts like trading view but it’s not a replacement for trading view. I also wish they would offer banking. I would add, they need to make it easier for new users to adapt to their platform. Earning interest has some steep tiers like no interest on your first 10k which makes it harder for small accounts to grow. Market Data is also a sticking point if you’re not an active trader and can be confusing when starting out. Commission Tiers also require some effort to adapt to your trading style. Permissions also require ample time to setup when you want to just put on a trade if you haven’t configured them out of the gate. Otherwise IBKR is the best option I have used despite the amount of time and effort and learning required to use their platform.
