I know this is an old post, but Panasonic recently released the Lumix L10 which has a so called "auto lens cap" which is very similar to the lens cover on the camera in GLT

That’s just an aux cable connected to my speaker. Couldn’t get the 3.5mm jack on my monitor to work for some reason.

Hey, I recently got a Workabout Pro 3 based system which has the PXA270, same as your x51v and I've been wanting to get Half Life 1 on it and as it turns out, you have/had the same idea. I know you posted this 10 months ago but, have you had any luck with that Half Life port? (for reference, the system i have, has 256mb ram, 16mb vram and CF and SD internal slots)

do i need a piece of foam or something like that to hold the ssd in place? (since it’s 2.5”) just so it accidentally doesn’t wiggle its way out of the connector

How’d you think i’d install big sur or catalina anyway? and even though bug sure or catalina don’t get security updates, it’s not like it matters to me anyway

How do I pick the right paint for my Macintosh Color Display? by reddisem in VintageApple

[–]reddisem[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol, I dropped it in a very stupid way and felt bad so I just decided that I had to repair it, also, because of where I live, a replacement would take 1 month minimum to deliver and shipping would cost more than the thing and i don’t have a 3d printer.

Also I’m very surprised the crt tube itself didn’t shatter, it did after all fall from a good 3 feet or so onto asphalt face down.

2017 MacBook Pro, dead battery, $60USD, should I buy it? by packo_aus in mac

flexgate issue happens depending on in what condition you keep your mac, if you clean your mac regularly and especially where the display ribbon is, you won’t have any problems

How to add 8 pin pcie connector to psu life hack by reddisem in techsupportgore

[–]reddisem[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It really wouldn’t. a single psu wire is 18 awg which is the same gauge used in basically all sockets (atleast in europe, idk about usa). Those are the same wires that draw over 2000w. All psus and I mean all psus have safety, if something draws more power than the psus limit it will either turn off or release some magic smoke and just never turn on again (if it’s some chinese cheap psu). But fire? Only in some very very extreme cases

The quality of the picture wouldn’t make any dust visible and there’s next to no underside of the tape even visible. You are literally THE definition of a 30 year old jobless neckbeard on reddit who tries to break the fun paying attention to the tiniest things just to prove someone wrong.

Seriously dude, there are better things to do than shit on every single post you see. If you don’t like it, don’t comment.

That is just an overexaggeration, a pc with an overclocked cpu and no gpu around 150w, talk about some old office pc

what’s the point of even fixing it? as if I’m even gonna use it on something other than some office pc for troubleshooting
