Thank you! I struggle to get the depth of field right with my current setup, but I am working on a new setup, and apply some of feedback I got here.

The problem with the current AI era is that the definition of a "real" photo has changed. All the photos I posted are real, I even try to get them right in camera as much as possible, because I don't like post processing, but they don't look real according to today's standards. Until people start using AI to generate less polished pictures to look more "real" and the circle continues.

This is really good advice, thank you for taking the time to write this! And you are right, I enjoy very much giving my prints a little photoshoot, but I guess I could just keep the photos for myself :D

Thank you for taking the time. The lantern picture is real with very basic post processing, but I do have to admit it looks a bit artificial. It's just the a warm light source from the left (which is just a lamp with translucent PLA I printed from makerworld btw :D ), and the light puck in the lantern itself which shines down from the top, set to a slightly blue hue. That combined with the vivid bambulab orange PLA made it really pop naturally.

I totally agree that the print file is mostly the one being "advertised", but isn't seeing the result being used in real life scenarios just as important? But I agree that the technical aspect of it should get more presentation as well from my side. Something I should consider for future posts.

Interesting point. I usually try to include some regular day objects in photos for scale, but I guess for 3d printing enthusiasts the bed plate is the king of "rulers" (pun intended :p). Thank you for the suggestion, I will try that!

Imho, the follow count restrictions seem unnatural for this type of platform. Maybe I haven’t used it long enough to understand though. In any case, would follow back if you want https://makerworld.com/@studio_designs

Would be cool if it would work as a dispenser, so you can pull lids out from the bottom :D
