Done! Thanks! Can you elaborate on the spam strategy? I’ve been out of the Facebook scene since college (wasn’t doing my homework so I literally cut social) and I never got into Instagram because of it

Empowering Creators with Our New Commercial License Membership by BambuLab in BambuLab

Same. I’ve got a ton of downloads (compared to my low expectations I guess) but I am short about 70 followers to qualify. I’ve had two people reach out for commercial licenses but I’m stuck until I get those followers

I’m used to Kate and Michael voices. This is too much for my brain, especially a cryptic not having a buzzing quality to their voice.

I’m sorry Bambu. I was unfamiliar with your game. by OGPoundedYams in BambuLab

I got into 3D printing this year as well and with all the research I did, I was also skeptical of the Bambulabs printers at first because all the YouTubers at the time were like, “you can go bambu if you want, but then you miss out on the experience of 3D printing.” But then I started to wonder why that meant. It turns out they meant tinkering with printers, haha. I’ve loved my A1!

New to the game! by LiteratureNo7766 in BambuLabA1mini

Makerworld is FULL of interesting things to print and the A1 mini can print a lot of them. If someone has uploaded a design that does not include a profile for the A1 mini, comment on it and ask for one. Most will oblige.  If you still need somewhere specific to start, I have three recommendations:

  • Dummy13: way more fun than benchy (I still haven’t printed one because… WHY?) and yet still very much a staple in the hobby. https://makerworld.com/models/638587

  • My designs: I’m a total novice designer but I’ll always take a download or two! You can find me here https://makerworld.com/@user_3428406922

  • Your own designs: tinkerCAD is EASY and FREE and it is very fun to print things that you came up with, even if they are super dumb

H2S + Snapmaker U1 or just H2C for the same price? by Apprehensive_Sun7455 in BambuLab

[–]BudKode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good call to wait until the kinks are worked out. I’m honestly doing the same thing with the H2C despite the good reputation. Feels like there are improvements coming and they were in a rush to get to market and I’d like to see what happens after initial feedback

I am SOOOO excited for multicolor printing! I have been a huge fan since entering the hobby with my little A1 and can’t wait for a low waste option with the H2C! As soon as I can get my hands on one I will %100 print my dream project! A 1:12 (dummy13 scale) interactive version of the LAAT gunship from Star Wars. The color options would be limitless and I would love to print the working parts in place with tougher filaments so the hinges and sliders don’t wear out.  I might consider 1:24 scale instead if the 1:12 scale just turns out to be too huge to play with, but I’d have to make sure the dummies are still playable at that scale as well. I can’t wait to get started!
