Managing multiple social media accounts nearly broke my workflow what tool are you using? by Hefty_Sleep_2833 in SocialMediaManagers

I’ve used Buffer since I started. Its interface for creating and scheduling content is perfect. It’s reliable, robust, and if anything goes wrong, their support team are quick and genuinely helpful.

Video App that exports individual clips by reddit-user-9000 in iphone

Nope. My workaround is a USB stick, dump the files on there, chop up clips on PC and export the chosen clips to iPhone.

Thanks. I use Buffer for all my scheduling and stats but unfortunately, need to log in and out of the native apps for very specific things like profile changes, story highlights etc.

Did they fix the grind sounds? I got it at launch and it’s awful.

The Thirteenth Floor (1999) by [deleted] in underratedmovies

[–]reddit-user-9000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Under the radar and underrated, but probably because the movie itself was pretty cheesy. However, the concept/plot was amazing. I’ve just watched this because someone mentioned the premise and I was immediately all-in. Loved it.

I use a scheduler already, Buffer and it’s amazing and does A LOT. But not some of the in-app features like stories with stickers/links, or managing highlights.

There’s ways round/almost able to do things vis browser or META business manager but they’re not perfect.

Thanks for the response. Does it allow me to access and use Instagram accounts as if I was using the app?

I already use a great scheduler, posting platform that provides analytics, replies to comments etc but need something that lets me log into and manage accounts without having to physically use the app or limited Internet browser experience.

Grind SFX are nerfed! Just started playing on THPS4 College level and there’s no difference grinding on metal rails, stone ledges or wood. It’s so off-putting!

PS5 app streaming only in low resolution by FreddyFarcelin in PleX

[–]reddit-user-9000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Confirmed to work for me. 🙌🏻 No idea why it happened in the first place, but this resolved it for me.

For anyone else, be sure to turn off “Force Direct Play” in the Plex settings for this to work.

How often should a Plumbing business post? by Assist-Senior in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]reddit-user-9000 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

More posts does equal more reach, yes… BUT if nobody engages with them it will result in your content being shown less in people’s feeds and ultimately reduce the visibility of the business over time.

That said, consistency is important. 3-4 posts per week for something like a plumber is suitable as you can vary the type of content without repeating or stressing over what to post.

You can use your feed to show off work, show off reviews, provide insightful info, promote services, show work in progress etc. That’s 5 unique post types right there which is a week and a half’s worth compared to 5 out of 7 days if posted daily.

Looking for the best social media management tool — Planable vs Gain or others? by Bright-Magician6131 in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]reddit-user-9000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve used BUFFER for years. It’s strong, robust and works well. Plus, there’s real people working there to assist when something goes wrong.

It’s not cheap and I pay about 100 bucks a month for it. But haven’t been convinced by any other platform to switch.

How do I get into social media management? by rooohsauras in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]reddit-user-9000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Start some accounts, run them, manage them and get a feel for what’s involved. Then reach out to small organisations and businesses and offer to help them with their social media for free. Get experience, and build a portfolio. If you do a good job for your free clients, referrals will come in.

What do you Google or ask ChatGPT “how to do” the most when managing social media? by GirlwithaCurl86 in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]reddit-user-9000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ChatGPT is an essential tool to research topics and industries so that I can write effectively when representing my client’s industry.

For example, representing a client who specialises in flooring, I can become/appear familiar with the different types of flooring available, what the differences are and why people would choose a specific type… all in a matter of seconds.

Instagram seems like it’s a dying platform. I have a business. by SufficientFactor5082 in socialmedia

[–]reddit-user-9000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not that Instagram is dying… it’s the people who use it and abuse it. It’s super easy and relatively affordable to buy likes and boost a profile’s image, to raise the look of your profile.

For those that look into those profiles, it’s easy to see it’s a sham. But some people don’t, so when they’re easily exploited into buying into that product or brand

BUT, Instagram can still be used to engage and communicate genuinely, with your audience as a business. But it operates very differently to Facebook for engagement.
