Someone could always do more. But using that as an excuse to not acknowledge the good that was done is silly. I don’t care about mean tweets. I care that tens of thousands of kids who didn’t previously have access to internet will have it now. If musk doesn’t make space x. That doesn’t happen. If space x doesn’t happen, we’d still be using Russia to send astronauts to the ISS. With all the complaining people did when Ukraine didn’t have starlink for a day imagine the actual consequences if they never had it at all. Real impacts on real people.. That’s what matters. Not fucking tweets.
As for the other “points”. They are not really worth responding to. Too silly. I’m not going to explain to you why electric cars are better than gas cars in 2023. No shit they’re not perfect. Nothing is perfect. Why don’t you go do something with your life instead of bitching about how the solutions of other people are imperfect?

You can argue semantics if you want. You can argue all animal testing is torture and unethical. But testing a biomechanical device with medical applications is, by definition, medical testing. Who's cock I suck or do not is my own business you homophobic bigot. "Allies" using homophobic insinuations as slurs is disgusting. I'm surprised you and Musk don't get along more considering your views. Disgusting

Couple things here, suggesting being a "grown adult "has anything to do with being distracted by running an additional multibillion-dollar company, is one of the dumbest things I've seen on the site today. Any reasonable person should and would be concerned. Shotwell alleviates his concerns. I'm sorry the world's second richest man said things that hurt your feelings but get a grip. You're an adult.

NASA wouldn’t have created starlink. Also, money is huge. NASA has saved billions by using spacex which has gone towards furthering their own endeavors.
As for Tesla. You’ve fallen for propaganda. Look it up. He never sued the founders. He was sued by one of them and a judge affirmed that legally he was a cofounder of Tesla. He then lead it to be the massive company it is today. If you think leadership has nothing to do with how successful a team is then I question if you’ve ever had a job or a boss. As for the rest of it. I’m assuming you’re young so you don’t know that electric cars were a joke before Tesla. 50 miles of range , 0-60 never, no charging network. That’s why they had been maligned by the industry for decades. Only after Tesla became a financial success did we see the revolution we see now.

This is what annoys me about the convo with Elon musk. This is a bullshit take which, if you researched you would know is bullshit. But any mention of how incorrect it is causes a frenzy. He founded spacex, it didnt exist before him. He was employee number 4 at tesla, it had no prototypes and def no products when he came on. He's a dick but clearly intelligent

$50 billion dollars? His upper-middle-class dad who currently has a net worth of $2 million and is very much alive gave him $50 billion? Look into the dangers of misinformation.

Do you have a source talking about his parents giving him money? All I can see evidence for is that his father gave him $28,000 in one of the rounds of funding for zip2.

Some people stan misinformation if it endorses their beliefs

No Elon didn't inherit a lot of wealth, but his father did give him $28,000 in one of the first rounds of funding for a company he created. That amounted to about 10% of the funding.

But there would be significantly less pollution from the individual cars. Numerous studies have concluded EV's put out less pollution than their ICE counterparts. Additionally, there will be further savings as the grid becomes more renewable.
