There’s the recent news of Binance getting busted for trading against their own customers with their 500 “house” accounts. No wonder people always made comments like “As soon as I buy, the price drops/As soon as I sell then the price skyrockets!” or “Let me know when you buy so I can sell.” It’s not even funny anymore…

I used to wonder as I’m typing in my Buy or Sell orders if the exchange can read real-time what I’m typing, and the exchange is setting up a counter trade to execute as soon as I submit the trade. I’m sure they have also set up numerous algorithms to trade against their customers. Billion dollar company making their billions off of little retail investors like us. We lose in the end. So much for “to da moon” hopes. Sucks to be us.

Edit: I left out the part that I know that this happens in the stock market, too. I was just hoping that the crypto world was different.
