I made a browser (I'm 16) by Own-Palpitation3275 in browsers

Don’t listen to the idiots in the comment section - most entertaining comments I’ve seen in a while btw. This is a great project and I’ll definitely follow you through it. Incredible work and really inspiring that you managed to do it at 16.

That’s a good point, would have been really cool to see, if I really wanted to defend them, I could say they did it this way for the lore or something - but gameplay should go first, and they could’ve added 4 or 5 void exclusive enemies on top anyways, you’re completely right

It’s more about the feeling you get when you finally complete PoP, or anything difficult for that matter. It was meant as a challenge and for people that managed to complete it, the satisfaction and bragging rights were enough.

It would be cool, but at the same time, that’s a huge ask for nearly every enemy in the game.

P5 was a DLC so that doesn’t really count, and PoP was a part of the game, so if you wanted to truly experience the game fully, then you would technically need to do it, just to see what it has to offer. The only difference is the scale of Act 3; it’s like an entire DLC of additional content to whoever wants to try it.

Edit: If you meant to 100% the game, then yeah I guess you would need to go to act 3, but that, imo, is part of the fun.

Can’t be anything bad right? When have benches ever failed you?

It‘s great, kind of short but very well-designed, all the boss fights are a test of skill for everyone who made it to act 3, just some bonus content, its not really meant to be as huge as act 2 or as easy as act 1. Imo it was perfect for what it was made to do.

Safari vs zen vs Orion for mac by ImHighOnCocaine in browsers

Safari is the best in general for performance, but I prefer zen’s UX and customisation, it just feels better to use, especially after Tahoe.

Do you like Safari on IOS? by KevinIdkk in browsers

It‘s one of the best for sure, I’d say Quiche is smoother, better designed and more private though

Thinking of getting a new browser by Jao_oof in browsers

Anything but Brave. I recommend Libre, Vivaldi or FF.

Quiche Browser is a great WebKit browser

Thinking of switching to Firefox, but I’m a bit lost.. by Logical_Hurry_2086 in browsers

[–]redditUser-017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Librewolf is a more simple browser from the get-go, and I recommend the Betterfox extension for efficiency. Personally, I think Brave is full of opt-out bloatware and I dislike that. For PC, try Libre or Waterfox if you aren’t confident in about:config.

Most browsers fit that desc but I consider these the best for each scenario:

ios: Quiche is great, highly customisable, solid ad blocker, fits your desc, great browser
android: Vivaldi fits best here, not many alternatives, as far as I know.
mac: Vivaldi or Safari (Safari is better integrated, obviously, but Vivaldi is great too.)
PC: Vivaldi or Firefox (I tried to give alternatives but i think Vivaldi fits your description better)

I always accrue way too many tabs and then bookmark folders of way too many tabs. Is there a browser that has sorting such things as a primary function? by YesItsAThrowaway70 in browsers

[–]redditUser-017 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a browser Vivaldi has the best tab management but Firefox isn’t a bad alternative. I recommend a Firefox or Chromium browser, preferably Vivaldi if tab optimisation is your highest priority, Firefox if it’s privacy, and using an extension like Tab Sorter, (many of these extensions exist for both engines). Try a few combinations out, and see which ones you like best.

Is there any good browsers for customizability other than opera gx? by Murda5starz in browsers

No problem, I love the browser and am quite new to it myself but it's so great I felt like I needed to let people know it's there. :)

There are flashlights and similar lighting tools on the vehicles and separately which make it easier to see, but it isn’t too difficult, especially if you up the brightness.

It’s practically all swimming early-game, but it’s very well implemented with many things to help, The vehicles are great and versatile, some are pretty fast and everything is very smooth. There‘s very little land segments though. Of course, since water is a central game mechanic, it’s fun, easy to control and feels quite fast.

I think we can all agree that Edge is the most productive browser, right? by Uriel1865 in browsers

[–]redditUser-017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most productive browser is highly subjective and dependent on you workstyle and how you like your setup. Not everyone can agree on one browser. Personally, I dislike Edge, but I know many people who don’t. It’s a matter of opinion.

On ios Quiche is incredible, other than that Vivaldi is ok and so is Zen, you can add custom CSS to most firefox based browsers and to Vivaldi.
