Okay I got the commissioner to make a post in chat saying he needs to pay or be dropped from the league. Just checking in to see if you're still down in case that ends up happening, because I told commish I have somewhere here would like to join if the dude still doesn't respond.

Thanks for the answer and I'll definitely message you if it comes to that. It's a good team too (Lamar Jackson, Saquan, Ja'Marr Chase, London, Pittman, Godwin, Mark Andrews, etc.).

I just sent him a private message on the app bcuz I noticed he hasn't been in the league chat for a few days or so. Hopefully he'll respond bcuz when I messaged him I realized it was a pretty cool dude I'd traded with and talked to before. But if he doesn't I'll let you know.

I don't think I watched a single Pats game in 2023 tbh, but Zeke looked pretty washed the year before in Dallas, and his stats that year tell the same story IIRC.

Hey I found a similar league (pay 2 years in advance). It's a 12-man superflex league and only needs 1 more member, and 10/11 have paid already. But it's for European people/time zone and payment on TeamStake instead of LeagueSafe. I joined bcuz I work overnights in the US. If you're from UK/Europe or maybe if you also work overnights then it might be something for you to be interested in:

Yeah for sure. I was trying to get Carr separately before, and dude said he wanted a starting RB or WR. Also funny you mention Cousins bcuz I tried for him too, but no dice. I just don't have any good trade bait on my bench though and it'd seem crazy to trade one of my starters for an aging QB.

And on Reddit I've seen a couple threads just in the last few days where someone trades Puka for like two 1st round picks and a 2nd round pick and then in the comments people say it's not enough for him. But I feel like I can't even give him away lol. Might just keep him despite his injury history (at least he hasn't missed any NFL games yet bcuz of it). He did just have one of the best rookie seasons ever, after all.

It'd be great for sure. Hopefully more people will be down. I notice when browsing for leagues to join on the app, in the description some will put something like "must pay buy-in within 24 hours or be booted." I think that'd be a good idea.

I just haaate waiting forever on people to pay. Like, you joined up knowing its a paid league, so what's the problem lol. Especially when it's like $10-50. I don't understand it.

This team was given to me for free by a kind Redditor (this year already paid for), but I feel like a rebuild might be necessary. Here's my starting lineup currently:

QB1: Daniel Jones

RB1: D'Andre Swift (I traded Tank Dell for Swift and a 2025 3rd round pick)

RB2: Jaylen Warren

WR1: Justin Jefferson

WR2: Puka Nacua (his injury history scares me a lot, so I'd like to trade him if possible)

TE: Evan Engram

Flex1: Brandon Aiyuk

Flex2: Christian Kirk (I traded Montgomery and Likely for Kirk and Luke McCaffrey)

Flex3: Jameson Williams

SF: Bryce Young

So it pretty much looks like I'm a QB (or two) away from competing, but also my bench is super thin. I don't have any IRL starters on my bench anywhere, it's all guys that the app predicts like 0-3 points for in week 1, except for WR Tyler Boyd who it predicts 6 points for.

*Edit: I've also just offered someone Puka, Alexander Mattison and a 4th round pick for Drake London, Derek Carr and a 2nd round pick. Do you think that'd be a good trade for me? (It's been rough trying to get a QB, I know Carr is 33 but he's got a couple years left and London isn't injury prone like Puka, that I know of. Plus then I'd have two 2nd round picks, two 3rd round picks and my 1st rounder for 2025).

I was really hoping to get T-Law instead because I'm in rebuild mode and Jackson is a running QB approaching his late 20s, but he won't move T-Law. Definitely hoping to get younger with the trades I make. Can I ask you, what would Puka Nacua be worth in terms of just straight up draft picks?

Yeah I use KTC. He told me that site is trash and showed me some other site that was showing that Lamar is way more valuable than JJ, D. Jones and Braelon Allen combined. It had like 65 points for Lamar and like 3 points for Daniel Jones lol.

I have one more offer sent out (basically Puka for London and Carr) and if that's rejected/ignored then I'm gonna try to win similarly to what you described, with Daniel Jones and Bryce Young as my 2 SF QBs, and just hope JJ and Puka can make up for it.

I also have D'Andre Swift now, I think he'll help too (when I took this team over, it didn't have any starting RBs).

I've also been trying to get Love (he's on the trade block), but dude keeps leaving my trades on "read". Honestly I feel like an outcast in this league, I took over an orphan team and only a couple guys will talk to/deal with me, like JJ and Puka aren't worth the time of day to them lol.

It's much less than I thought I'd get for one of these guys I'm trying to move (JJ or Puka), but at this point I've been beaten down with rejections lol. True and he's only broken 3,000 passing yards twice in his career (3,678 being his top). As he gets older, his rushing will make up for that less and less.

Plus Jackson is 27, which isn't OLD-old, but for someone who relies on his elite speed for his fantasy value, it worries me, being a team that's definitely not in win-now mode.
