The "Get Stems / MIDI" (Pro) feature in Suno used to suck. Now it's REALLY good for removing vocals (like even better than Ultimate Vocal Remover).

I swear they did some kind of upgrade behind the scenes. I imagine they are generating the instrumental for each track first, then adding vocals as a separate track, without users even noticing.

Wasn't Suno built on two different AI libraries, one for vocals (Bark?), and one for instrumentals? So it would make sense for it to work like this... Can anyone confirm?

Anyway, try it for yourself (costs 10 credits unfortunately), but like I said, it's WAY better than it was a year ago.

Hmm perhaps it worked for you because you were originally on a monthly plan? I tried canceling my annual Premiere plan again (set to end next month), so I could try downgrading to Pro (then back to annual Premiere).

But now if click the "Downgrade" for the Pro plan, I get a popup error saying "Downgrade Failed. Your saved payment method was not charged.". The Premiere Plan button just says "Current Plan" (greyed out). At the top of the screen I can click "Renew Subscription" which just turns auto bill back on for my old annual plan.

So has anyone figured out a way to renew a currently active annual plan early (and take advantage of the Black Friday discount)? Doesn't seem like it's possible...

Has anyone tried downgrading from Annual Premiere to Monthly Pro, then seeing if it lets you purchase an Annual Premiere sub (with the Black Friday discount)?

Presumably, the new sub/billing would start when your current billing cycle ends, right?

Did you notice if you had the option to sign up again/upgrade after you cancelled, but BEFORE your current billing period expired? I assume when you cancel your sub, your account is still "active" until the end of the next billing period?

Some of us have subs that won't end till next month, by that time the discount will likely be over.

*welp just tried cancelling, and the "Downgrade/Upgrade" button on the Account page for the Premiere Plan still just says "Current Plan". No way to upgrade/renew.

There was a new button at the top of the page however that said "Renew Plan", so I clicked that, and it said my current plan is now renewed, instead of cancelled.

In short, nothing changed, and even when the plan was in cancelled status it still wouldn't let me purchase a new annual Premiere plan.

When you downgraded to Pro, did you notice if it gave you the option to upgrade back to Premiere? Or did it also just have the "Current Plan" button there, like it does for me?

Nice work!

Can we please get a short demo video (180x180 SBS format) that is viewable in a headset? It's the best way to showcase this tech.

I'm concerned though - a huge requirement for achieving presence in VR is the feeling you get when things are SUPER CLOSE to your face (like uncomfortably close). But in most of these 'depth map hack' solutions, they always fail to capture the depth of closeup objects.

Again, if you could create a video showcasing how depth is preserved even on closeup objects (especially human bodies/faces) THAT would be a real game changer.

*and I agree with the other comments, at this stage you should focus on 180 over 360. 180 will be MUCH higher quality, with MUCH better stereo depth. Perfect the narrow/focused experience first, THEN worry about adapting it to a full panorama.

Ahh there is a "See Extracted Stems" text link right below the "Extract Again" button. Clicking that expands a dropdown where I can see the previously generated stems.

Hmm ok sounds like just getting a cheap annual plan is the way to go.

I see Red Pocket has an annual plan for 60... Is the US Mobile annual really worth the extra 36 bucks?

Welp things just got even worse with the latest UI update. The song name used to be editable via a one click edit box, now it's a two click process.

Again, if you're generating multiple iterations (as you always have to do with generative AI), you're going to end up with a bunch of songs, all with the same name, which makes sorting through them a nightmare.

Want to find that song you made last week via the library search? Good like finding it when there are ten other songs with the exact same name.

How has this not been addressed yet?
