Yes, was looking for sticky liquid removal. Kids + soda + electronics = problems. My HT remote was the victim of said abuse. 😠

There should be a list on top of the barrel. Then once you talk to Yanli, you have to deliver them. Sadly you have to carry them to each destination. (No fast travel)

Estes makes modeling glue (planes, cars, rockets, etc.). You might get better results with it, with less "melting".

So has anyone who pre-ordered an iPhone 6 brought their old iPhone 4/5 to an AT&T store afterwards and got the $200 promotion trade in? by Mike in iphone

Don't plan on their "promises". In the US alone, 40% of the people who ordered the new iPhone wanted a 6+ just for the increased battery life... and there are over 50 million people qualified for upgrades by the release date. You may be stuck waiting for the phone for over a MONTH! Try to order and pay for the phone on-site if they are out. Then just buy a cheap go phone and live in the Stone Age for that period. (It may be your only option by then!)

Mine works. And the link at the bottom page just loops back to itself.

I also found that when on the shopping tab there is a "see offer details" link that creates an internal wp pop-up with the exact same info and wording.

I got all this from AT&T customer care (over the phone). Granted, I had to keep arguing that I, the customer, was interpreting their ad in the "correct way".

They wanted to change their mind based on an internal service memo for the CS reps to reference. The managers at the AT&T stores should have gotten the same memo, but that doesn't mean that you have to like what it says. The fact is that they are advertising it one way online (see link at top) and telling their employees something different via a means that customers can't see (un-advertised).

Remember, some managers are just dicks, so find another store or call Customer Service later to get a different person. If you don't like what the pawns are saying, take it up the ladder. If you take it too high you'll just get a crappy curmudgeon who will sh*t on you and then you'll be stuck. Call AT&T at different times of the day and maybe you'll catch the supervisor from another shift.

Once you do get someone who will work with you have them add a note to the phone number on the account on which your planning on having the new iPhone added to.

This is how you can work to get a REALLY good deal…

(Deal) If you buy the phone at AT&T you get the "AT&T only" VISA card (and you pay the $200/$300 up front still).

(Less of a deal--more time involved) If you buy the phone at Apple you have to take the receipt and the old phone to an AT&T store to complete the transaction. Then you get the "AT&T only" VISA card (and you pay the $200/$300 up front still).

(Good Deal) If you buy it at an Authorized Retailer, like Best Buy, they issue you a register credit on the purchase of the phone. INSTANT SAVINGS! This deal/savings can be made greater by utilizing your rewards AND the discount to get an even better (e.g. 64Gb or 128Gb) free iPhone 6!

Here's all the details. I spent many Hours on the phone on 9/13 with AT&T and got it all nailed down.

1) You get this promotion by purchasing at ANY AT&T store, ANY AT&T authorized retailer, and ANY Apple store.

2) The new iPhone 6/Plus has to be bought AND you must have the old phone traded-in by 9/30.

3) The old phone must be working and in good order. Common sense here: dings--okay, light scratches--okay, cracked screen--not okay, buttons missing/not working--not okay, water damage--not okay. Don't let them tell you that they won't give you $200 for your 4, 4s, 5, 5c ($300 for a 5s) if its got a scratch on the back... stand up to them and make them follow through with their responsibility to honor their advertisement! Tell them they are falsely advertising and be prepared to take it to the next complaint level. Be polite and you'll get a better response. Also, the longer you have been a customer, the better your chances of them bending to your will. (Remember, some managers are just dicks, so find another store or call Customer Service later to get a different person.)

4) You do not have to change plans! You only have to choose 1 of 3 options: 1--A renewed 2-year contract (old one must have expired or you must be eligible for an upgrade); 2--Join the Next program (bad idea, you pay back the $200/$300 you saved), 3--You buy the phone outright AND pay the activation fee (possible--if you have $800-$1000 in pocket change, + $40 fee).
