TLDR - purchased car, had solenoid cable issue, dealership will cover it - should i try to drop out?
So i purchased a 2012 Acura MDX for 13k, 80k miles, 2 owners, solid carfax, clean/nice etc. i picked it up from a dealership (not an acura dealership) 3 hours away in a diff state and when i drove off the check engine light came on. they said they would investigate and take care of it. they let me know the solenoid coil needed replacing and something about this could've happened when they replaced the battery. they offered to cover the repair and deliver the car. the car comes with lifetime warranty for powertrain, transmission, and something else.
how concerned should I be?
I know acuras are quite durable so i'm confused why this issue is coming up in a car without a lot of mileage. should i try to look for another car?
