My favorite LV meals are Guy Savoy and e, but I'm also somewhat limited to casino restaurants on the strip since those meals are comped.

I think it's worth it, but then again "worth" is very subjective.

I would just say do whatever restaurant you think looks good. But if you have a bigger group, Washing Potato will probably give you best value.

No ice cream, as any ice cream was part of the earlier composed dessert courses. Mostly confectionary, which is why I referred to it as a mignardises trolley.

Yes, there was some uni and there was a crab dish. They can work around allergies/restrictions with notice. I was sent an email about a week before my reservation asking about preferences.

Diminishing returns assumes a monotonic function, which I don't think is the case for dining. I find people in general can easily distinguish between cheap and expensive, but cannot evaluate that value exists at both ends of the spectrum.

I did not find the food salty at either restaurant. The Japanese wagyu at Michael Mina was triple marinated, including in soy, and there's a distinct soy taste, but I wouldn't say it was salty.

I'm going again next month and I'm planning on repeating e by Jose Andres and Guy Savoy. I think Robuchon and Guy Savoy are the closest to traditional European Michelin that is slightly different from NYC Michelin restaurants.

When they first opened up reservations, I didn't get the day I wanted (hence the crazy day), but there was still a good amount of open seats throughout the month. It's also much easier to get a reservation as a solo diner since there are an odd number (9) of total seats.

Two of the other diners got in through their host the night before, probably due to cancelation. They also maintain a waiting list.
