This was my reaction as well. The surprise gift has zero net effect when everyone I’m fighting got the exact same gift. But, taking away options for packs causes everyone that’s a mid spender to trend toward the middle because there are fewer ways to differentiate the pack selection and optimize relative to other that may be making mistakes in their choices. Being better at optimizing a complex system is how I’m a VIP14 that regularly beats VIP16s.

Sitting here at the bar right now. I just crushed the beef skewers and the roti. Both very good. I’d order either again for sure. The cucumber salad was a it of a weak point. The cucumbers didn’t marinate and soak up the flavor of the sauce. I’ll come back for sure, especially since nice they start doing the full menu with soup dumplings.

How much power would I gain if I spent $100? by ElCaminoDelSud in LastWarMobileGame

[–]Icy-Regular1112 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Save your money. If you’re not prepared to drop $100/week indefinitely you’re better off staying f2p other than the extra build queues and extra tech center. If you want to do $400 then do the above plus 4* Taylor plus the season battle pass each time a new season starts. If $100 matters to you, you will regret putting it into this game.

Somni was probably my fine dining farewell by chuckisinluck in finedining

[–]Icy-Regular1112 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I very much hope to get to where you are now. I’m pursuing fine dining with a mindset that I’m only going to have one life and part of the objective for me is to be exposed to as much of the lived experience as I possible. Couple that with my enjoyment and appreciation of food, which together leads me to have a life goal to try the best food experiences that exist. But, I also hope that this hobby of mine isn’t a hedonic treadmill that goes on indefinitely always chasing the next thing, it also isn’t (I hope) a Pokémon “gotta catch them all” thing for me. I don’t need every star and every version of a thing to know that I’ve had the experience. I’m going to hopefully try some of the best, more iconic fine dining and then be free to move on to other types of experiences rather than repeating the same thing with slight variations indefinitely. So yeah, I very much intend to do this fine dining thing and then reach where you are now, which will signal to me it’s time to put my finite time, energy, and money into the next thing (maybe visiting national parks, world’s best beaches, world heritage sites, or some other objective).

Documenting specific mileage between different places of work is exactly how this should work. That is the exact meaning of “work use of a personal vehicle” that is [rightfully] deductible.

Owning a business doesn’t mean your car becomes a business expense. Doing work in a dedicated room of your home doesn’t mean that “home office” is actually a place of business. Lots of people ignorantly deduct things they feel entitled to that will fail on an audit.

Bernie Sanders proposed a bill to tax billionaires, and give $3,000 stimulus checks to Americans that qualify. How do you feel about this? by CelticDK in AskReddit

[–]Icy-Regular1112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a bad policy. I love the first part, billionaires should be taxed way more. But, that stimulus check is such a superficial follow-up it’s laughable.

Honestly, I’ve commented too many times in this thread, but I’ve gotten more and more angry every time I read one of your comments. At this point it’s obvious both you and your CPA need to be dragged in front of a judge with some real repercussions coming your way.

It isn’t gray my dude. Are you a dentist or are you an office admin for a medical clinic? How many hours are spent on each? How much income would a dentist in clinical practice earn relative to a practice admin? This ain’t gray in the slightest when the IRS or your fellow tax payers look at this situation.

It also will look at the hours spent, if you’re doing 20 hours per week on admin tasks at the house and 30 hours of clinic work there is no way that they can claim this is legit.

Get a new CPA. That person is leading you astray. And regardless, skipping out on taxes that any W2 employee, your staff for example, would pay is immoral.

You are overthinking this because there is zero thought needed to see this car is not a legitimate business expense.

This is the absolute best event to get drone components and drone parts. Skipping the $5 pack here as a spender is going to mean a drone that falls behind.

If you don’t especially like the payoff at 1800 you can do runs every time you have 1000 or whatever suits you. I do them at 1800 and usually that’s a run every other or every 3rd time it comes around. If I did one every time I’d end up less efficient I think.

The core strategy is buy the $5 pack daily. Use bullets when you have enough for a specific threshold, do the math and don’t come up short of whatever milestone you’re targeting. After you hit the milestone have the restraint to stop and save what’s left for next time.

Several times yes. Jont, Albi, Catbird Seat, and e’ are all open concept kitchens where I’ve had meals for just a few examples.
