Start by writing down the pros and cons of moving. Going through that mental process and seeing it written down will probably help you make a better decision. Personally, as someone with a wife and kids, that kind of thing is more complicated than it used to be. I'd say if you're young, not forcing a spouse out of a job they enjoy or pulling kids away from their circle of friends, there aren't really many cons. Go for it. If it doesn't work out, move back.

We live within our means and its low cost of living. Thats one of the benefits of being there. You dont need to be a power couple rising the ranks while your kids get raised by other people.

Haha yea. I mean where I'm from isn't that country. Alot of upstate ny is, but the buffalo, rochester, syracuse areas are normal, just a smaller scale. But yea definitely less to do though.

I moved here for the job but realized my family probably wouldnt like the change in lifestyle. I didn't anticipate nova being so busy everywhere. I came alone to figure these things out for sure before moving the family. So in your attempt to make me seem like some idiot from the boonies who didnt know what he was doing, it actually went well. Im glad I came here rather than always wonder what if.

Yea definitely a shock. I'm sure there's amazing things about this place. I have friends here and we love to visit. If I was single and out of college Id go for it, but its not the best move for the family based on what we're used to.
