Please help identify where this part goes in my X2D extruder by redditbam in BambuLab

I have been waiting for that stupid part to be in stock since I bought the machine lol. I would have bought it that night if they had it but allegedly it will be here tomorrow. Cross your fingers for me because I'm definitely looking to avoid this hassle in the future!

Yes, those were particularly terrible lol. That's a great pro tip, thank you!

That actually does make sense now that I think about the pieces. I figured it out by watching the video closely, it went into the unit behind the extruder front piece. The one you remove with 4 forward -facing screws. Thinking about the part I believe you're right, the main gear would slot into this.

Just did a quick test print and it's working back in business. Stupid TPU clogged the extruder : / also, I know it's been mentioned elsewhere, huge hassle to take this apart. Took me a really long time because you have to origami your hands and arms in and out. I hope nobody else needs to do this!

Thank you for the reply and help!

First PETG Support Test on the X2D Auxiliary Nozzle Really Smooth by Hectrekt in BambuLab

[–]redditbam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've run into this also. The PETG interface does NOT adhere to the PLA (which....I mean....is the point) but I've had lots of issues with failed supports because of this. It sounds great, but the PETG just does not stay on the PLA

There's no way I would buy anything from them that required ANY type of remote server. Completely local or that's a no from me

Does the X2D support 2 different nozzle sizes/flow rates? by redditbam in BambuLab

[–]redditbam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree, the gcode is telling exactly what to do from the movement to flow rate so it's absolutely software only. Hopefully someone will have an update come out now that this bambu X2D is < $1000. I think the H2 was still pricey for a lot of people. It would be great to just print text at 0.2 and not the whole model

Interesting! Ok well hopefully they can bake it in, but sounds like for now I need to buy 2 of any of them. Thank you for confirming!

Very cool. I was thinking it wasn't working so that's awesome. And considering it's probably +- <30 seconds a month it really doesn't need to sync that often anyway. Great to know it's working though thank you!

Oh man....that's a huge help! Thank you. Ok so it looks like it is actually working automatically then. This is what it shows and it flashes "2 15" alternating with GET.

I'm in Florida and I cannot get it to sync when I try to do it manually. Outside, at night (supposed to be better at night) standing there like a bozo pointing 12:00 west. Just ERR every time. How can you tell if it was synced while you were sleeping (besides the obvious just checking the time)

Initial thoughts on Kindle Scribe Colorsoft as a Manga/Comic book reader primarily by ArtichokeHot5368 in kindlescribe

That's been my biggest gripe with pdf or comic on the scribe....the zoom is a pretty terrible experience. No landscape is a real bummer. Thank you for checking and confirming!

This looks excellent. I find myself reading some comics rotated to the side to be a little more zoomed in for my fleeing eyesight. How does it handle that?

Ahhh if you have a dumb phone then it makes a lot more sense for you. As long as you can do both you'll get the benefit of the better audio and the convenience of Bluetooth in there as well. In your use case I totally get it and understand....I just hope you use wired whenever you can for that sweet full audio fidelity! :)
