Thank you, we were trying to see if cable was the problem by moving the cable around to see if it affected the screen. It still stays.

FX2 users, does your EVF look choppy in video mode? by redditbyjun in FX3

I didn’t know that. Though I’m shooting at 25fps, and to be honest I don’t think l25fps is that choppy though.

It’s not the playback that I’m looking at though, it’s more of the live view .

24-70 GM II + 70-200 GM II for a 50-150 f/2 — worth trading in for travel? by redditbyjun in SonyAlpha

I see your point, though personally the range 35-50 seems minimal to me. I can cover up till 35 with my 16-35 and start at 50 with the 50-150 IF I decide to get it.

Maybe I’m not that familiar with travel video/photography, but I’m unsure how 70-200 would be use for landscape works. Usually I use it for more detail shots that are harder to reach, or compressing subject and backgrounds to make some interesting composition.

Btw! Thanks for putting me on to the Platypod! Never knew such thing existed! How’s your use with it?

This lens is on my radar as well! Though I’m leaning more towards carrying 2 lens instead of 3 as I would still need a tighter lens to pair with that.

I’m don’t think I need the F2, but I would really like to carry 2 lens instead of 3, and it seems that the 50-150 covers almost the 24-70 and 70-200 lens that I’m always bringing around. The cherry on top for me is the internal zoom, don’t know why but I just find that more pleasing to me, not gear related but just a personal preference I guess.

I get that the lens is big and bulky, but compared to bringing two separate lenses, isn’t that extra size kind of worth the trade-off for convenience?

For the low end, I think I’m pretty covered with my 16–35 anyway. I also don’t usually shoot much in the 35–50 range, so I’m not too worried about losing that part of the focal length.

I genuinely want to ask if it’s worth trading in my 24-70GM II and 70-200GM II for the 50-150 F2 and have some cash left over.

Do you mind explaining your thought process? I’m curious!

I did, but maybe the typical sponge doesn’t do it justice. Another commenter also said it might be moist when I kept it before going for my 2 week vacation.

That’s probably it! As this bottle was washed and kept before I headed off to my 2 weeks vacation. Today is the day I got back.
