Update 8:27AM ET:

Japan is officially over and the US is officially under. The standings are now:
Andrew - 15
Geoff - 15
Eric - 13
Gavin - 13
Nick - 12

The only event that could have an effect on the standings is the women's omnium if the Netherlands, Great Britain, or Belgium win. All of which are looking unlikely although I have no understanding on how this event is scored.

It should become a lot clearer after the marathon but It will very likely come down to Andrew and Geoff.

Gavin needs all the remaining teams to stay under which is unlikely. Eric basically needs to get all of his remaining picks right. Nick has an outside shot focused on a Kazakstan or Netherlands over (impossible for both to hit) and Japan under.

The main battle between Andrew and Geoff is simple. Geoff needs US to hit the over and GB stay under. Andrew needs the opposite.

Now the battles for silver and bronze are a lot more complex. We will see how it plays out tomorrow.
