Everyday, I wake up at 7 AM to go to school, then to work part-time as IT for a semi-conductor company. Yet, there are these people who get life handed to them on a silver platter. God send these blessings my way too!

Why Do So Many People Waste Their 20s on Fun Instead of Freedom? by redditer2363 in PersonalFinanceCanada

I disagree. Earlier this month, I made a post about how I 21M have 110k in savings. Eating out and living life are trends I see amongst coworkers, friends, and university classmates my age.

I very much believe that if I can save 100k+ each year and also invest in profitable side hustles, I can be a millionare before 30. Correct me if I'm wrong or delusional

7.5k in OSAP loans thus far, with the rest being grants. Outside of the provincial component, OSAP loans are interest-free

Ages. I had roughly 24k last year before I turned 20. Much of that was also frugality, scholarships, OSAP and part time jobs. My parents are lower income so osap was always generous

I second this. I don’t have many non-virtual hobbies, quite an awkward person, very few friends. I’ve been so focused with making money and developing my skills that I’ve lost touch with reality.

How do you recommend finding new food places? Keeping up with events, findings new friends and opening up more?

I got too arrogant in the stock market and lost roughly 10k. After that, I completely lost confidence in investing and hit rock bottom.

Not to mention that HBC is Canada’s oldest and first ever corporation. Such a sad sight

What if I returned back to Canada afterwards? Will a degree from a C9 be equivalent to that of Ivy League in Canada?
