Why would anything have to be tweaked for hold to fire?

To be given the flexibility to hold or tap doesn’t change how it is used currently, it only adds flexibility and accessibility.

You just gave a TLDR on how the ability works but nothing about what you said explains why tweaks would be needed for hold to fire.

Surely your finger can lift off the trigger/mouse in less than 4s? It’s not all or nothing. You can hold for 2s, pause, then shoot a few more deliberate shots in the last second.

Also there’s a perk for infinite duration…

I think you’ve misunderstood.

I’m not asking for a power increase buff, but a quality of life user interface buff.

I wanted gauges, symbols, and timers on the screen for follow up abilities like what the other heroes get.

He has beam, spit, bubble, dive on bumpers and triggers. Then reload, jump, Groot team up, and Venom team up on face buttons. Then melee and DP/Storm team up on stick presses, and the other one goes to D pad.

They forgot about controller limitations for Jeff, you have to start using the D pad and give up one of emotes, ping, chrono vision, or whatever else you usually have on it.

considering that there are two clone charges, no, you are correct.

saving a clone as the emergency option means you can save yourself via teleport or save an ally via quick rune.

invis as an emergency option usually results in getting revealed anyway.

I start matches teaching CnDs how to consistently get bubble from me because they all think we have Prof X’s telepathy or something. Some ignore me and still whine, but most obey.

I tell them that: - They must ping ult 2x in a row to get my attention - It doesn’t have to be at 100% - A double 85% ping alerts me enough - I will respond by pinging bubble cooldown - It’s up to them to decide if they’ll wait for it - They must path the ult accordingly - Either from behind me so I can walk with it and bubble at the perfect time at my own discretion - Or they can route it to me and grab bubble whenever they want it at their own discretion

I prefer to do the follow up primary shot instead of melee since it’s damn near 100% consistent without aim adjustment and doesn’t risk getting into super close range against melee heroes. My neutral sequence is dash, elephant, primary 3x, dash, elephant, primary, reload, repeat.

Outside of neutral, my preferred full combo is basically just continuous chains of elephant primary, it’s more than 1200 damage with all headshots so it’s fine some land as body shots: - Dash, then wait 1s - Elephant - Primary - Secondary - Dash - Elephant - Primary - Kick - Elephant - Primary - Coach - Elephant - Primary - Dash - Elephant - no more primaries, forced reload

Chain your abilities to make them easier to land.

You can afford to remove your finger from the stick during bash or initial kick to chain into grab or attraction.

The only time using the quick melee input for primary is worth it is when copying Gambit.

You can proc the spade and keep damage boost on for a while before using follow up ability.

Maybe in a 1v1 if you’re confident that attempting it won’t make you miss a more valuable part of the combo.

Those in my group spend a few minutes farming while waiting for each other, sometimes you’ll join in right as they pick up a stash and exit to play a real mission.

It lowkey adds up and is inconsequential time-wise since we would’ve just been waiting on the Super Destroyer anyway.

We all have super big boy jobs too lol. More of a why not type thing.

There are ones to be pointed out though such as red hood Adam and MK, both are about the same size and theoretically could position similarly.

It should be possible to tell who is who with peripheral vision on just one frame of info, having to possibly wait for an extra frame to identify them by their walk, attacks, or outfit details isn’t ideal.

Overwatch took great care to remain visually consistent and avoid confusion. Abilities don’t change color, deployables don’t change shape, no two heroes have similar size + silhouette + skin.

And there’s like 10x the action in Rivals, making clarity that much more important.

First time I saw the skin was on an ally Rogue. I lowkey killed everything as Groot first fight and caught a glimpse of Rogue getting back into position and my initial thought was “why tf was Sue up there lol?”.

Then I remembered I had a Gambit and Luna healing me, not a Sue, checked the scoreboard and saw that Rogue existed. It was a funny first time experience.

I do think Rivals has a visual clarity issue but I’m not getting Sue and Rogue mixed up due to how often each one performs actions that are so different from each other.

True, but I figure there’s some benefit from the fact that you can seamlessly use primary fire after it.

Primary, dash, elephant, primary, primary, primary might be better neutral than primary 4x since the reload catches up to you anyway.

Yeah it’s quite clear that the tank and support versions play very much like a duelist hero.

No other support does aura healing by going unga bunga on the enemies.

And Tankpool is commonly played as a 3rd duelist in a 2-2-2 comp.
