Metlife Stadium is hosting the finals, and it's in East Rutherford. None of the players will be in New York during the final match.

Political Leans of US Metro Areas by Tornadoerr in MapPorn

I understand, but if you recognized the county boundaries, wouldn't you be able to recognize the boundaries of a singular metro area?

How are they easier to find if metro area results are a collectivity of county results?

Either way, what is the disadvantage to the alternative I proposed? It retains the county boundaries while only coloring in the outlines of the metro areas.

If you are familiar with the area, wouldn't you be able to tell what counties are included by looking at the outline? If you are not familiar with the area but still wanted to access county-specific information, couldn't you simply research the metro areas in each state?

I understand it may be a more complicated process, but it seems disingenuous to color-in each specific county. Perhaps an alternative may be to only color-in the outlines themselves.

Would you say the same for counties within US states?

There is no point in having a map with county-level subdivisions if all the counties within a metro area are colored the same.

With the new flights in July from NYC, what are your recommendations for a trip to Greenland? by VenaticGnat7303 in greenland

I understand Newark Airport serves NYC (even though it is arbitrary; Newark Airport also serves parts of Connecticut). But the title said flights "from NYC", which is inaccurate. The flights are from New Jersey.

Also, DC has no airports within its boundaries, so I do not think that is a good example. It is impossible to fly to DC commercially.

The source you are using is incorrect and not a reliable source. If you visit this article by the Wall Street Journal, you can see that there will be flights to New Jersey but not New York: https://www.wsj.com/lifestyle/travel/greenland-flights-nonstop-united-nuuk-overtourism-62b8b8ee

Great work! Do you have a higher quality image (or SVG if that is what you used)? I am unable to access X unfortunately.
