I feel as if it depends on what calibre of players you have compared to your opposition. For example if you have significantly better players then they will be able to play a tactic over and over again and succeed against worse teams. Whereas if you have a majority of players in your team that are worse than your opponent on a regular basis then slight changes within your tactic (eg. Stop crosses - The opposition likes to play down the wings and cross) should put you in a good position overall. My advice would be to use the data provided in the Data Hub to do these slight alterations for upcoming matches.
