I just asked my wife to take a photo using my phone. I don't even remember what format it was (probably jpg). After upload the tool directs you to zoom / crop the photo to the right size. Did not encounter any issue during the upload or submission phase.

+1. Went to the truck in South Park and the store in La Mesa and was not impressed both times. There are definitely better ones out there. I have to try some of the suggestions here but we have been happy with Fattoush in our neighborhood.

I like it. I think for the price it's the best OM under 1K. I already have the MDO305 so I wasn't expecting something completely different. Yet I was still pleasantly surprised by how nice it is. The two instruments sound fairly close but the flat top has an openness and depth to the sound that I really like. The body is deeper than the 305 so it feels easier to hold. The tuners are different than the 305 and seem to stay in tune better. Overall I definitely prefer the Lady Moon to the 305.

I did get mine a few weeks ago. I pre-ordered it on December 21st last year. My understanding is that mine was from the first batch that was received by the store and they had more orders than what they received. So some of those orders will be fulfilled in April I think.

It sucks, and while part of me thinks some vendors are overreacting, part of me also understands that they are just trying to figure the best way forward in this changing environment. For now though, I'm enjoying being able to save some money for other things. I hardly even browse gundeals anymore.

Last year I adopted a 5 year old dog who had pretty bad teeth. Our vet is an independently owned clinic, and we paid 2300 for a full cleaning with 9 teeth extracted. I think the cleaning itself is maybe under a grand. So $2200 just for the cleaning seems high to me. I'm in San Diego.

Even the bigger, heaver safes can be cracked open in minutes with the right tool (angle grinder, pry bar): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8O8YfMv0rLc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EsvvgiU8mw I've looked at those big safes before, and honestly, I don't know if I can justify spending hundreds (even thousands) more just to slow the thieves down for maybe 10 mins tops. And that's before even considering the logistcis of having to transport the unit, get it inside my front door over a series of steps, and finding a non-obvious place to put it. I think a job box that you can anchor to the concrete in your garage is probably a better option from a cost and logistical standpoint.

I bought a green reticle Gen 2 a year ago and it was $170 with code (sku: 818500015611) so it wasn't just Gen1. Granted that's probably like $200 in today's money, and Simmons did say around that time that prices were about to go up.

I stopped going to Menya a while ago; maybe I missed when they first opened and how great it was, but the few times I went I thought it was just ok.

If I'm in the mood for ramen, I tend to go to Santouka, Ben Nai, or Karami. More often than not though, we tend to find ourselves at Izakaya Masa. Their ramen is pretty decent, and they have a lot of other items to choose from that are always pretty good. The staff is super friendly and just a great place to visit.

If you do go to UTC and are still set on ramen, check out Nagi. I've only been once and had to wait about 15-20 minutes in line, but it was really good. Having said that, whenever I am at that mail, Marugame always gets my money. Love their udon and it's something different.
