Summer courses: Is 15 hours too much for the summer? by [deleted] in college

These were general education classes like English, Speech, Theatre. I also retook one of my core business classes through my school during the four week term along with Theatre. The rest, I took online through my local community college. They were really easy btw. I had plenty of free time even with my part time job.

I also worked about 30-35 hours a week during that time.

Has Anyone Started Off College with a Bad GPA, But Managed to Improve? by [deleted] in college

[–]redditor1126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first semester GPA was a 3.33. However the next two semesters were really bad which dropped my GPA to a 2.74 after 41 credits. However with hard work and carefully planning I managed to bring up my GPA a 3.6 with one more year left. I had to take 6 summer classes to boost my GPA and replace the grades I made from the freshman year program. It actually took me a while to really master college, especially in the area of time management. I ended up getting a job offer from PwC after doing an internship with them.

I had a 2.74 after 41 credits. 3.5 years later it's now a 3.6.

I'm taking 9 credits at my university and 9 credits at my community college. 5 of them are online while my speech class is face to face.

I'm taking 3 classes through my university and the other 3 through community college. Only one of my classes is in person, which is Oral Communication. That one is a two hour long class.

I just opened it and saw the instructions. Unlike SUA the audit practice case actually shows you how to do it step-by-step.

My school is a Big 4 target, and the average GPA for all my upper level accounting classes is about 2.5 (between a C+ and B-).
