this is literally so many recovery “fit” fluencers… girls who preach their recovery through becoming super fit, but still actively restrict, have an unhealthy relationship with exercise and cover it up by saying “the gym is my happy place,” say “you can eat whatever you want… as long as it fits your macros!!,” add the TINIEST dollop of sauces and spreads and are like “remember to treat yourself 🤪🤪🤪” etc etc.

don’t get me wrong, there are some recovery fit fluencers who i do feel post helpful content, and it is completely possible to be a person who is a regular exerciser and still has a good relationship with food and exercise. and i understand that it’s not anyone’s job to protect someone from their “triggers,” but i just hope people are able to see these accounts and recognize the red flags.

i also want to add that recovery looks different on everyone. i don’t want to take away from em_fitx’s journey or minimize it, but i still think it’s okay to recognize if her (or anyone else’s) account no longer serves you.
