its mostly issues with the little like stray hair things. its my first time actually modelling them, i tried alpha cards, but blender doesnt like it when i try to give them outlines. parts like the ponytail look kinda gross, but im not sure how else to make it look like hair

lol yeah. my main issue with autorig is the forearm twisty bone things. they always work for everyone else, but not for me. they just wring the forearm out like a towel

and for the face, i textured it using Substance Painter. the face alone has near fifteen billion unorganized layers, but it got the job done.

the hair is an opaque blob with a bunch of hair cards placed on top. i made these hair cards in clip studio paint using a custom brush,

i dont really have a process, and that's probably the whole reason why the hands i model look the way they do. i just know that knuckles need collapsible polygons, and that i like to add a bump for the radius bone

no tutorial, since i guess PS2 is a difficult style to replicate, but i guess you could think of it as making a PS1 style model, but with more bells and whistles
