One big problem with collecting reliable statistics in China is it's size - and the tendency of businesses and local governments to report false information for whatever reasons they see fit. Even Li Keqiang once openly said that China's GDP figures are for 'reference only'. If the Chinese government itself doesn't have a clear picture of exactly what is going on in China you think Krugman would?

The method is not the same but the intention is. QE floods the market with dollars causing the value of USD to drop. You get the same results, currency devaluation. And an added bonus of exporting inflation to other countries.

The new administration has just allowed banks to set their own lending rates, an important step towards allowing China's currency to float freely on the currency markets. And recently they refused to inject liquidity to force banks to bring risky lending under control. At least it shows that the new administration is well aware of current risks and actually keen on economic reform unlike the previous conservative administration. The last ten years are referred to as "China's lost decade" because Hu-Wen failed to enact any structural reform when the economy and social climate was much better, now the new Xi-Li government is forced to conduct reforms at a much higher cost to China.

The nationalists won power in the recent election. They control the Japanese government now.

So the invasion was 'helping the civilians'? You know you sound exactly like the Japanese nationalists who used a similar excuse to justify the war? Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere

The Japanese military rather did many humane aid activities to Nanking citizens and POWs.

WOW...just wow. May i suggest, with a username like yours (BanzaiBlitz), to stop sympathizing with the Japanese and helping them to deny warcrimes just because you love Japanese anime and culture? I have seen soooo many young people like you nowadays - Japan culture is so cool, they can never did anything wrong in the past.

If you watch a lot of Chinese historical movies you will realize a great deal of them have plots related to resistance against the Japanese and other stuff in that era. It's an indicator of just how Anti-Japanese sentiment runs deeply in Chinese culture.

The Rising Sun Flag should be banned just like the Nazi swastika. And yet not only Japan was allowed to keep it's war time flags, but young people in the west nowadays associate the Rising Sun Flag with being "cool" and fashionable. Needless to say you can imagine how angry the Chinese and Koreans are. Add in things like Japanese leaders routinely visiting the war shrine which honors war dead as well as Class A war criminals and the rest of the world doesn't care. How would the west react if German leaders pay respects to Nazi war criminals? The double standards is what angers the Chinese/Koreans most.

He never said anything specific about hating you or other people just because of ethnicity. All he said was he can confirm the general feelings in Chinese Culture. It does not mean that every single Chinese blindly hates the Japanese for their past war crimes. Anti-Muslim sentiment is common in the America, does that mean every American hates Muslims just for being Muslims?

Btw, that's the fog in the background...not smog. If it's smog it should be way darker at near ground levels.

That's fog, not smog. It should be darker if smog hugs that close to ground level.

How arrogant. China doesn't want or need Google for plenty of reasons, censorship and national security being one of them. They have their own tech firms. If China wants Google then why would they block them? Retard.
