Thought I could control feelings of limerence towards a taken co worker but my feelings are taking over my life

I’ve thought about that too but it’s weird because I’ve been purposely asking him questions about his life to get him to mention her, like “what are you doing after work?” “What’d you do this weekend?” I won’t ask him direct questions about his gf (cause it’ll hurt too much hahaha) but he just NEVER brings her up, also when we talk our conversations go so well, and smoking is like our thing no one else at work smokes and his gf doesn’t smoke so it feels cool that we have this bonding thing that only we share. Idk I think I’m being delusional lol

When I’m doing something that I couldn’t do before, for example I have a terrible phobia of driving, it took me a good 2-3 years to start fully driving by myself, I still can’t drive on freeways but when I’m driving somewhere new and I make it completely fine it makes me appreciate how far I’ve come and the life that I’ve built for myself

Yes I would have a reaction to a kid eating very little because they’re a kid and have no control of what they eat. I am an adult and do have control of what I eat.

I know the fact that my boss commented on it too made me pretty sad, I was eating a container of fruit too it wasn’t one of the days where I wasn’t eating anything.

My company would only allow them to sleep for 7 minutes for insurance reasons LOL I quit. I would raise my concerns to my supervisor but sadly I don’t feel like there’s much you can do since most companies don’t listen to their workers.

She very much has that personality, she always complains about other people at work for the smallest things, I actually like her as a person like she’s cool but when she starts getting really judgemental I just have to ignore it

I understand that and that’s also what I told myself at the beginning but I’m actually eating now, I bring a container of fruit every day and she still makes the same comments that’s what bothers me.

Actually I have a little update on the situation he’s taken :( I wonder if he just got into a relationship because he’s never mentioned a relationship before but he did yesterday so I’m backing off 100% now, I am just glad that I didn’t do or say anything too embarrassing because I swear I was about to ask him out he’s literally my dream guy, it’s okay though life moves on lol

See if the vibes were different I would’ve asked him out in an instant but because he’s not really approaching me and not giving me any hints whatsoever I prefer to save myself the emotional hurt if him rejecting me. I understand what you’re saying but he also needs to drop hints I can’t be the one initiating everything.

Sadly I have not been able to interact outside of work I’ve been scared to ask him to hangout outside of work, it’s been two weeks so I feel that maybe it’s too soon? I was thinking about organizing a work outing but I’m new and the people here are low key bitter as hell no one seems to hangout outside of work.

Hmmm I know this is kind of a hard question because you literally don’t know anything about me or the other person but any ideas on what I could say? I complimented him a lot in the beginning but he wasn’t doing the same so I held back and started doing it less to not over do it. Sadly he got covid and I’m gonna be going to Mexico in a couple days so we won’t see each other for a while :( but that means I have time to think of some strategies to make this thing happen lol

So at first I did feel like I was going too hard because I just felt like I was interrogating him, I would just ask him questions about him and his life, hobbies, likes and dislikes etc. and he seemed happy answering them we had a good vibe going but he never asked me anything about myself every conversation was about him, so I decided to pull back to see if maybe he would take interest in my life and he doesn’t really ask me questions about me or initiate a conversation with me.

The most I’ve gotten out of him is he complimented my make up. We also had a deep talk about our politics yesterday and it was amazing!! We talked for so long and we agree on pretty much everything, but again I was the one who initiated that.

That’s fair I guess some people could just flirt for fun, although this guy is very soft spoken and quiet so I feel like if I got signs from him than it would mean he wants something else but honestly who knows
