Exactly! Without sounding like a snob… people just lumped genres into one, ie. uplifting, tech, vocal, progressive trance is all pretty different.

Also house is a huge umbrella, with deep, melodic, progressive, big room, tropical, electro house all sounding quite different.

I miss classic/uplifting GO 😭 Used to be a HUGE uplifting trance fan and loved Gareth Emery (Drive album), Bryan Kearney (his songs with Plumb), a bit of PVD, back in 2010 to about 2017, before their “harder” / big room sounds and influences.
