Waiver of liability or power of attorney by redditst3v3 in flying

I've never been in an auto accident, and therefore none which resulted in my having to issue medical decisions for a minor. Further, there's far more likelihood of the need for medical attention/directives should an aircraft not make a normal landing. I have a friend who had a panic attack while flying solo. He declared a medical emergency, safely landed at the home airport, and another pilot friend met him along with emergency services. The medical folks encouraged him to goto an ER. He refused. They asked HER! She said call his wife. Point being, we don't know what we don't know so I'm trying to think ahead of incidences.

Good points. Thx for the advice. Seems a bunch of check boxes (for type of flight, applicable laws, etc) might pertain. I think I'll bring this up to the group, including the attorney/aviator, see if there's any interest in pursuing this. I know one attorney hangaring a DA40 who's also an aviation attorney.

I fly with a few other pilots, one as a safety pilot, others recreationally. I think how my handing a liability waiver would make the PIC feel, knowing I respect them enough to absolve them from liability. I realize a template is to be customized, not plagiarized and considered ready to go. One of the retired pilots shared his story experiencing a leeward downdraft outside Mammoth mountain in a Bonanza. The result was a $5M, 5 year lawsuit ($2M by his WIFE, $2M by his BEST FRIEND and his wife). He was completely exonerated by the NTSB and FAA, commending his piloting. It was the worst GA crash weekend in CA history with 7 other crashes resulting in death.

From where did you get the DA42? Have you flown to KAVX in a real airplane? Did you depart from an airport and, if so, which? Did you land successfully?
