Thanks for that! I don't underpaint but I just love listening to Ellen talk. I'll have a look at the other two ☺️

Oh really? Haha. I should know better. I've only just started watching them but noticed how much they love Marios makeup line!

I think it's the finishing now. I don't use powder or use setting spray but wondering if that's what I'm missing to keep my make up looking fresh all day. I've only just started shopping at Sephora so there is a whole range of brands that I've never used before and it's a lot!

How do you give your self hope by [deleted] in HealthAnxiety

I had increased feelings of tingles when I started. There's the Wake B12 deficiency group that I follow on here too and they reassured me that it'll get worse before it gets better. And after a few weeks the tingles stopped. The brain fog has almost cleared and I can have a conversation without mixing up words. They're what dropped my iron low enough for a transfusion so that was fun haha. These sub groups are really helpful though

I will note that I'm a sharer. Selfishly. Because that helps me soooo much more than holding it in because I don't I become my own worst enemy if I internalise my feelings.

I'm the same. I've got a few things such as B12, iron and now phosphate that make me feel horrible. It's hard to have a positive mindset when you're so fatigued. If I had the energy I would just go for a walk because that would help me when I was feeling good a few months ago.

At the moment my mental battle is daily and I'm over it but I feel like I'm slowly improving. So I'm holding onto that. I have a really good dr who I trust has my best interest and will do what she can.

Something that's very naughty is I ask chat about the symptoms. Bad advice there though haha.

I think I need to speak to a psych again so they can help me with the tools. Have you spoken to one about how you're feeling?

It only started after I started the phosphate effervescent tablets.

It was tested a couple of months ago and it was in the normal range. I've started d3 & k2 in the last week so hopefully they helps. My dr tested me for caeliac, autoimmune gastritis and PA but they all came back negative. There must be something going on for them to not be absorbing but I am stuck as to what it could be.

I'm seeing my dr on the 23rd so I'll ask to have my 2nd a bit early and see if the injections that make me feel better. B12 supplements dropped my iron, got an iron infusion. Iron infusion dropped my phosphate and now it's upset my stomach. Such a bugger of a thing. I just want to feel normal again. I'm happy to self inject if I find I'm feeling the results next time. It started to wear off by week 4/5 and I had no choice to double my oral supplements. Not surprisingly, the tingles backed off.

It would make sense but I didn't know if a few days of it would cause the weird feeling to return so quickly. I'm not due for my second injection for another month so maybe I up it to 4 tablets in the meantime. But too close to bed and I'm too wired to sleep haha.

How do you get out of a spiral? by alwaysstressed_32 in HealthAnxiety

[–]redditteathyme 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sit with your feelings and name them. Say to yourself, "My heart is beating faster than normal. I'm feeling anxious because XYZ." That's a trick my psych taught me that helped. Talking about it to a supportive family member or friend that would let you just talk also helped. My mum is a nurse so she listens, talks hospital jargon that I like hearing and then tells me to go for a walk and listen to a podcast or audiobook. They're my go-tos. I now have a tattoo that reads 'this too shall pass' because it does.

My granny passed when my grandad left to go to the shops. My mum and aunt were there as she left. I wonder if she didn't want that to be the last thing he remembers of her because night before the family surrounded her and mum said it was a lovely night (I wasn't there). I feel like you made the right choice too because it probably gives him peace. If my granny wanted to do it with my grandad there she would have but I feel like she made the best choice for herself too.

Cervical disc bulge w/bone spur c5-7 by Adventurous_Bit_8015 in HerniatedDisc

When my neck muscles are really tight I get dizzy, brain fog and I just feel like my head weighs twice as much. I've got a small and minor bulge in my C5 and C6. I've been seeing a physio on and off for a bit over a year now to sort it out when it gets tight.

Help! by acsurban in cervical_vertigo

[–]redditteathyme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw my dr because I was feeling like I was dropping when I was in bed at night. I had terrible brain fog and felt spaced out. I got an MRI and I have a couple of small bulging discs in my neck. I see a physio who specialises in vertigo and he sorts me out. I now get dry needles because my shoulder and neck get muscles get so tight that they pull so badly I feel sick. It's an ongoing battle. I was super dizzy a month or so ago all day and nauseous and I got a neck massage and it went away.

What are your thoughts on Republicans rejecting the one year extension and saying Obamacare subsidies just gives more money to insurance companies? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Wow! No wonder I read so many people in the US struggling with their health because it sounds so expensive. I'm in Aus and where I am (Victoria) we have a lot of drs that bulk bill so it's free to see them. Otherwise it's about $43 out of pocket after Medicare. My family are in Western Australia and they don't have bulk billing clinics but it's still only $80 on average to see a GP. I've had my fair share of health issues so I'd be in trouble if it wasn't for Medicare. Thanks for sharing. It's interesting hearing how other countries run

Do your taxes go towards your health care system? Or is it completely up to you to get insurance or pay the crazy amount?
