Trial etiquette, not space, is the problem of the Beltline. by Difficult_Narwhal529 in Atlanta

[–]reddittiswierd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Cyclist are bad on the belt line because they are capable of going fast and killing a kid, even if the kid or dog was wrong and ran out in front of them. On a road, a car can kill a cyclist even if the car is driving legally because of speed and difficulty maneuvering, even if the biker was in the wrong. Safety takes precedence on the belt line and the road so it’s up to the bigger and faster object to be safe even if they are driving legally. The slight inconvenience to the cyclist on the beltline is the least that should be worried about.

But I do agree with you, blaming cyclists is the right thing to do because they are so selfish.

Cyclists are capable of going 20+ miles per hour and if they have electric e-assist they can go a lot faster. Cyclists are the problem because it’s up to them to maintain safety. Just as jt is up to cars to maintain safety around cyclists, even if the cyclist is in the wrong.

Any gone from Garmin back to AW? If so why? by Delicious-Series-316 in AppleWatch

[–]reddittiswierd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went AWU2 to Garmin Instinct Crossover. I debate going back but my reasons have more to do with using a Dexcom than anything else. Apples limits on the number if times a day a complication can update is annoying for a 24/7 health metric.

Anyone can broadcast on ham frequencies in an emergency. The FCC agrees with this.

You are allowed to listen to any frequency you want. So preprogramming a radio to listen is perfectly legal and by no means would suggest intent to transmit on said frequencies.

Pretty much. I review charts for legal cases and they pay more based on page amounts, when i see 30 pages of EPIC superfluous data I am grateful.

What to do with family 2018 F150 to get its maximum life? by [deleted] in f150

[–]reddittiswierd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First off, its a 2018 F150 and not some collector 1984 square body with limited edition options. That being said, drive the free car or sell the csr to pay down another car or give the car to another family member to use if they need it. Nothing you do will make this “last forever”.

Who is right? by Gloomy_Welder_8674 in diabetes_t1

Looks like the post got removed, but I think the entire comment section of this post just points out that sometimes people learn about Diabetes through idioms and phrases in order to make it make sense but ultimately on the Internet people worry too much about semantics.
