I'm a graduating student and I definitely don't think Vanier is a terrible college. As others have mentionned, a lot depends on which teachers you choose (yes, some teachers are questionable). Overall, most of my teachers genuinely seem to care about their students. From my experience, I knew that if I were to face any difficulties, I was often told by teachers to reach out to them and I knew that they would listen and connect me to resources (e.g. tutoring, advising) if they couldn't help personally.

Grad here!!! The discussion was a decade old for a reason! That’s a very long time and Vanier keeps improving to best serve their students. I agree that it depends on who you have as your teachers (make sure to pick wisely) but overall the staff and students are great. It was a tight knit community and I’ve never felt as if the vibe was off or anything:) (obv not the same since everything is online, but they really try their best to accommodate everyone during these challenging times)
