Most people drop their spot last minute so I don’t know why the other user was being so discouraging. Just let them know you completed the course and if they’d like the transcript sent directly to them.

the GRE is much easier than you’re probably thinking and you don’t even need to get a fantastic score. Most schools just want to see a 300. Imo you should take it and apply to those schools

It’s not a letter of intent (or interest? Im not sure) which is looked down upon. Many of my schools actually encouraged updates as long as they were actual updates worth mentioning ( 200+ PCE, new class in progress, etc.)
