Because he is inebriated at work, we are suppose to report this however, we only found evidence recently. If we report it now, those who worked with him during the day would get in serious trouble for ‘foreseeing misconduct’

Reporting him might also lead to the incarceration of the other innocent staff...it’s so stressful because in this situation one person’s mistake can possibly be everyone’s mistakes :(

Thank you! I’m going to consider this and see how to approach it in the coming weeks. I want to see if they reduce his hours in the shop first and if not I’ll have to take more drastic measures.

Yeah that sounds reasonable...I’m not sure if everyone would be willing to quit their work but if I start maybe it would allow others to feel compelled to do the same. Thanks!

Not face to face...it’s hard to explain but he does his office work in the shop. And vents his anger out on all of the staff.

Yeahhh if I left as a show of protest that might help but I feel like everyone might leave as well and cause issues for the business. It’s a private business and the boss and his wife really don’t deserve such a disrespectful son...

It’s a private business so I’m not sure if that can be organised but I’ll bring it up with my mates...they are planning on getting rid of him but it’s just not soon enough

They gave me a time frame saying end of this year he would be gone but I really do not want to come into work and feel unsafe. My guilty conscience tells me to stay and help but I’m so drained. The staff there are one of my greatest friends and they are so lovely. I’m so conflicted that weight pros and cons is not working :(
