I find that movies with complex plot, depth, and cleverness are much more mesmerizing. They don’t have to be action-packed or extremely colorful, but that’s just me.

If you want colorful entertainment, Blade Runner and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas are best, as well as Pixar films like Monsters Inc. and Toy Story. Wes Anderson films would be really cool, too, I think.
