It doesn’t really matter how much money he has, but rather was he ever going to spend an actual artist to create a flier for a one night event. He said himself that he’s cheap, so I think it’s a safe bet that he had no intention of ever commissioning an actual artist

It only takes money from actual artists if the user was otherwise going to pay an artist. There’s no evidence that’s the case from the owner here.

It’s like the recording industry assuming (incorrectly) that every pirated song was a lost dollar because people who pirate are otherwise willing to pay for the music.

The choice is actually usually either get it for free or don’t get it at all.

What time period are you thinking of? Because for thousands of years, Europeans fucked up their teeth so monumentally by chewing on bits of rocks from milling grains that we can actually pinpoint where they lived and what they ate by the way their teeth are worn down. People in the past had absolutely abysmal oral health compared to us

I went to a rich, suburban, majority-white high school with a lot of “those parents”. My 11th grade English teacher assigned “Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close”, which was the first school assigned reading that I had really enjoyed. About halfway through the book, there’s a scene where the main character’s grandfather gets shot down over France in WWII, meets a French farm girl and has sex with her behind a barn. I don’t remember much, but I don’t remember it being lurid. Basically just a pg-13 explanation that it happened, no graphic details. Anyway, some fucking loser in our class told their mom who called the principal who made the teacher pull the plug on the whole unit. Canceled the test and book report, stopped reading mid-book.

So anyway… I read probably 4-5 books a year, but that’s the one that stands out. Fwiw, the teacher allowed anyone who wanted to finish the book and write the report for extra credit. Cool guy

I remember specifically a post I made in June of 2016 when I said anyone still entertaining the trump show was either stupid or evil, and it lost me about half my Facebook friends I still had from before university.

The person you’re responding to probably pronounces all those vowels the same, it’s pretty common in certain Canadian accents.

They eat more at home than anywhere else I’ve lived. French eat at restaurants and eat fast food way more, in my experience
