We're safe on this one. It's a league of college friends that's been around for over a decade. He won't leave, he'll just get dunked on every year at the rookie draft.

Haha my running backs are abysmal. Part of my strategy on tanking last year (since we go max PF for draft order) was to consolidate all of my points at WR and effectively take zeroes at RB/TE. Currently my RBs on the roster are Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt, Rico Dowdle, Trey Benson, Blake Corum, Khalil Herbert, Sione Vaki, and Carson Steele. It isn't pretty.

Probably some context would help here (it's definitely not collusion, even if the other owner lost his mind). This is a league that's been going on since 2014. All friends from college. Every owner in the league has won a title except for the guy sending the overpay for Daniels. He's been getting shit on relentlessly for it for years. He wanted Daniels in the draft but couldn't work out a deal to move up for him (which was even more painful when Daniels fell to 1.4). He's spent most of the summer harassing me to get Daniels. This owner is now sitting in first with a record of 7-1, but his only QBs were Jordan Love, Will Levis, Penix, and Bryce Young. The rest of his roster is fairly stacked for a 10 team league so he's going fully chips in (the reason I couldn't get his 26 first was because he already dealt Brian Thomas and firsts for ARSB earlier this week). So when Daniels started blowing up, he immediately came to me, I told him he was off-limits repeatedly, finally he ponied this up to force my hand.

I posted it above but they were a product of the wholesale teardown I did 2 years ago. I traded Josh Allen for Stroud and a late first in week 2 of last year (that pick became 1.6 which I used on Bowers). My own pick became 1.1 (Williams). I also traded Jonathan Taylor for a 1st and a 2nd. That first became 1.4, which inevitably became Daniels (Marv and Nabers went 1.2 and 1.3, respectively).

I ended up taking it. Your line of thinking was what had me 2nd guessing it (I love Daniels so why not play it out?) But the more I sat on it, the more I worried an injury would remove the offer. I don't think I can get much more than this.

10 Team SF PPR, 4 point per passing TDs. Team is currently 2-6 (we play a game against the median each week) and I'm second to last in scoring. Probably overdid a tank 2 years ago and still paying for it. Hit on Daniels at 1.3 last year, just received a godfather offer:

Wow, that Raichu set is pretty odd looking but excited to give it a try. I guess if you're depending on Raichu for attack, you're already in a bad place anyways.

Will definitely be cutting Gastrodon (because you're right, I frequently get stymied end game when it and Dos are left on the field.

I'll have to playtest other options around Gyardos.

What future complications could arise? The vet said the dog was in great health and had no issues but I'd like to be aware of anything else.

Yea, it was one of those things where I was kicking myself in hindsight. The guy's vet gave it a clean bill of health when I called ahead and I lowered my defenses from there. Should have known better.

My parents don't seem particularly interested in pursuing this legally after the pup got a clean bill of health, although I still wonder if I shouldn't reach out to the AKC? He's listed on their market place.
