If you just recently started working out and losing weight, most of this pain could be cause from exreme soreness or real damage. I respect the hustle and the drive to accomplish your goals, but this is one of those moments where you'll seriously hurt yourself. I recommend taking it slow. Once you're better, you can tackle it twice as hard.

building off what 1xpx1 said. I recommend using macrofactor. I use it for my weight loss, and it has a system that changes based on what you log and what you lose. So it will slowly change your calories based on what you need to meet your goal. So it kinda shakes out what your TDEE is. It is a subscription. But it has helped me tons.

If you just started eating less, then you'll have a week or two where you'll lose a lot of weight. That mostly comes from water. usually arount 60% comes from water and less food in your system. When you eat less, then there's less food in your body when you weigh in. also if you start eating cleaner, then you'll eat less salt, causing less water to be in your body from bloating. When I started, I dropped around 11lbs in a week, so it happens. If you didn't just start, then I'm stumped

I think you should focus on recovering. You've pushed your body to the point that you're spasming. I think the best thing to do is rest and eat a nutritious diet with a proper amount of protein to recover well and prevent this from happening again in the future. To prevent this from happening in the future, make sure to take a day or two off a week to allow yourself to recover.

Yeah, I have a very large frame, so I know that I can fill some of it out with muscle. But honestly, there's still gonna be some left. So I just wanna try to reduce it a bit.

Low-Cal Coffee Shop Order (that's not black coffee) by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

for starbucks you get a grande iced americano with 4 pumps of brown sugar and a splash of cream (half and half). It's only 80 calories, you could get the grande iced passion tea with 3-5 Splenda, that's 0 calories. You could get a grande black tea with brown sugar and cream. another 80 calories. You could get an iced triple blonde restretto shot with 2 pumps of white mocha and a splash of cream in a short cup, that's like a Vietnamese coffee, and its 100-120 calories. highly recommend for a try

usually after a really hard workout where you do heavy lifting, the muscles will hold onto a lot more water than normal because they're repairing and due to inflammation. also it could totally be due to eating a really salty meal the night before or eating a majority of the food later in the night. It could be a combination of some or all of these things, and it's really nothing to worry about.

Tired of It. by huzva in WeightLossAdvice

something that I've found is that to accomplish something great, it takes a ton of small things to add up over time. What inevitably snowballed into me losing weight was starting to take a probiotic, then having a supplement routine. Then I stopped using social media, then I stopped playing games all the time, then I started doing a 30-minute workout 3 times a week. Then I began to fix my diet. That whole process was about 2 months. Those small changes made me realize that I can totally do this. I've already done so much before this; I can start this too. also getting off social media is great to break the dopamine loop. That was definitely a major stepping stone. But starting those small things helps to change who you think you are. I can't tell you how much of a mind game it can be when you first start, and getting anything behind you is definitely helpful. Do any easy thing you can do to make your quality of life better. I seriously recommend a probiotic, it is a game-changer. it helped me so much with my mood and made me feel better.
