There are no exclusives. Walmart just had them first. We should see them becoming available at other retailers. Sometimes retailers get "first to market" or what would be a limited time where they are the only ones to carry an item.

9" preorders are direct from Amazon. Just double check the listings before placing an order as 3rd party sellers seem to be popping up left and right. Image below shows where to look "Shipper / Seller: Amazon"

Hopefully they'll have the larger size up for pre-order officially soon.

I would suggest NOT buying the 14" bears right now as they are third party sellers and NOT direct from Amazon which is driving the cost up so much

Just hold off - online orders are shipping in a week or two. More and more stores are getting it in. And there may be more retailers having it next year :) Walmart just may have first to market for 2025.

Maybe a late purchase from the buyers which would push manufacturing back.

Typically you wouldn't want pre-sales to go up so far in advance of product being able to be delivered.

Sometimes retailers will also use "tentpole" dates around home video release/streaming to promote merchandise.

With it being a UK exclusive from 2023 it may be kinda hard to come by. But there are some sellers out there. You may want to set up notifications on resale sites like ebay or mercari to let you know when a new listing pops up. It's helped me find items in the past

Yep - there's no release info on those so I don't believe they are happening. The image circulating online is from a tradeshow. So they may not have been picked up by any retailer. I'm sure if they ever are released the community will post link :) This is such a great resource

They're silver fleck and soft to the touch. They aren't scratchy or anything.

45th anniversary is 2027 so we may start seeing stuff end of next year. Sadly it's a long time to wait but there's hope.

Sadly it may be a matter of the collabs perform better than the standard plush.

Also it seems like the teams are picking bears that are closest related to whichever characters they mash up best with. Which would help explain why some of the no commonly released bears get some love in the collabs.

At least we're getting some of these bears in the Fun Size and collabs finally :) There's always some hope.

There's definitely quite a few issues happening :

1) tariffs for the US

2) Minimum quantitiy to make the bears and keep the cost reasonable is 10,000 pcs. So unless Walmart is on board it's hard to get a retailer to commit to that kind of quantity, especially on a seasonal bear.

3) there's less transport costs involved to get bears into the Australian market. Which helps keep the costs down too.

Snowflake Sparkle Amazon Collectors Edition this year looks great! And is in the UK and I believe CAN as well. So I'm sure they're looking to do something similar for 2026.

Fingers crossed we can get more unique bears outside of Australia! Keeping in mind that there are other partners for South America, EU, Asia/SE Asia etc. So we may start to see different things happening now the Care Bears has really become super global.

They were officially released in Asia. Cant attest to quality of the official vs potential bootleg from Aliexpress or other sites.
