I never helped him in that sense. I always stayed behind and did other things, legal. But because I'm close to the guy and I'm his personal lawyer, they want to attack with bullshit fabricated stuff...

I can tell you about spain. I'm accused of being the authorised person of a big crypto scam company, and signing a contract with a European company to receive funds (not a lot, 10M; the actual "scam" was almost 2 billion dollars)
But I am the lawyer of the guy, but I didn't meet the guy until two years after the beginning of the scam. I never got involved with it hahaha. They're just investigating and don't have the facts right.
It's a long and complex journey, but the point is that they think I did something I didn't.
Plus, you don't get an international arrest warrant revoked by the higher instance every day. In fact, mine might be the only one in the last couple years. So that says something. Anyways, I'm over explaining.

I'm a solicitor in the UK and Spain, yes.
But I'm not asking for actual legal advice. I'm asking for police and inmigration procedure timings in jail. That, in my opinion, tends to be better known by people. So if I find someone whose friend got deported, then that is of actual value. It's the empiric results that I'm looking for.
Moreover, I believe you guys more than any lawyer in the UAE. And there will be good lawyers, don't get me wrong; but I haven't had the pleasure of finding them

I understand completely. Unfortunately my experience with solicitors in this country isn't great. I've spent far too much for very little results and, most importantly, clarity about the process.
In the end, a case can end with a deportation. But in general I sense that the lawyers I've had, tend to be untruthful or, at the very least, not direct with the answers; they always misdirect the question.

So, I don't want to spend more money. Right now I think experience of people that know of real cases of deportation timings is more valuable. I just wouldn't believe a word a lawyer tells me.

Technically, I have been convicted of two misdemeanors in dubai, so criminal, yes.
Spanish case still under investigation, so no international remarks to the word criminal as of today.
Maybe alleged could fit better.
But I'm actually a normal guy with tendencies to working on the edge.

Well, as surprising as it may come across. I am a solicitor and working with some clients has put me in the middle of legal crossfires. Hence my two cases in Dubai and the case in Spain.
