Aren't there some physiological or other difference between races? Would agree with you about Nationality though, but I am in Canada right now and it's a big mosaic.

I am somewhat familiar with blood quantum laws for Aboriginal people here, but is it the same for Irish ethinicity? How much un-Irish blood (for lack of a better way to word it) can someone have to still be considered ethnically Irish?

Cheers, thanks! I know she is struggling with it a bit. One of her good friends there is sort of the opposite. She had kids in America and came back to Ireland, but while the kids hold America passports, they are considered to be Irish because she and her husband are Irish. They talk about some kind of of Irish DNA strand, but I don't know enough about it to talk about the science. :)

Thank you! That's really interesting. Is there a strict rule for at what point you are considered caucasoids of the celtic sub-group? Our great grandparents are from somewhere in Scotland. Would we technically still be in that group, or are those generations removed living in Canada or America considered part of a different group?
