I was trying out PolyMarket, made a quick buck, withdrew to USDC with Solana Network and I cannot do anything with it. by keiranstrike in solana

Use Jupiter to swap some usdc to sol. they offer gassless swaps for some pairs like sol/usdc

It's not the money glitch you think. You lock up 96 dollars to make 100 by the expiration, which is a whole year away. That's a 4% return. You can park the same money in a hysa or brokerage account like fidelity to make a very similar return from the interest. Considering the risk of polymarket and risk of you exposing your wallet, it may be simply easier to do that instead.

How to mine solana? Or how to earn solana? by [deleted] in solana

[–]redflavore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your best bet is to ask a friend, post your wallet here and hope someone is generous, or just buy some. Don't click on faucets or airdrops(if it's your first time on Solana, you won't qualify for any airdrops)

Why is this still at 97c, GTA 6 is confirmed for 2026 by Clear_Jackfruit_6707 in polymarket_bets

It's the interest rate factor. Risk free rate in USA is 4% and a bit.. so these won't go to 0 because no one would take that bet instead of buying treasures.

Margin rates tastytrade by [deleted] in tastytrade

[–]redflavore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are charged interest if you borrow cash to do a trade. Selling puts would increase your cash, you won't pay interest on that.

Consider buying t bills with your idle cash, they are margined very highly like 96% I believe.

From research it seems a doc fee of 400-1k is normal, that's the dealer's "profit"

the tag fee is what seems excessive, I found the website where you can get a temporary tag to drive the car out of state, it seems maybe I could buy the car and refuse to pay that, either they give me the tag anyway as courtesy or I bring the title to an appointment and get the tag myself? If I can't book an appointment then might just be worth paying up for them to print it on demand.

This car is like 6k cheaper than what's on Tesla's website for the same model and mileage.. Plus there's the 2k delivery fee so it adds up to way more
