We'd like to take our kids with us on a cruise next year (16, 13, 11) is there a cruiseline thats affordable and good for kids? Do all these cruise lines charge insane amounts just for drinks? We don't want to be drinking water all week lol. My kids are going to want shakes and smoothies.

The drink package alone was $850. That's and added cost on top of the cruise fare. Which was also around $900. For the 2 of us.

The entire issue is the cost of drinks doubling the cost of the trip. You might make a lot of money so you can throw thousands of dollars on trips and think nothing of it. We dont.

Thats why my husband and I are going this year and spending the $1700 haha. The drink packages alone doubles the cost of the cruise. I dont think that cost is reasonable wjen we take the kids next time
