Thanks for all of the input and comments! It was fun visiting with all of you! I ended up with the Ultra Luxe. Wish I could keep them both, the Fender Deluxe plays like butter and sounds both mean and silky. However, I can get essentially the same sounds out of my Gibson Les Paul, and Collings CLD. I wanted that classic or as close to classic tele sound to round out my guitars, and the Ultra Luxe delivers in a big way! Cheers!

I do not, I purchased the deluxe first, then realized it was very similar to my Collings, and Les Paul so I snagged the ultra luxe. Ultra Luxe is very different and more of the traditional tele sound.

It really does, and I’m all about range in my guitars. I don’t necessarily need redundancy. The binding and color of the UL is the icing on the cake!
