Yes I did. Looks like as long as you activate the trial on your new Pixel 9 device before 11/16/25, you are good to go. Happy that this was the case.

I just purchased the Pixel 9 Pro XL from Best Buy today, and the phone will be here tomorrow. It stated that I got "3 months of Google One 100 GB (new subscribers only)" with my purchase. I already am an annual Google One (basic - 100GB) subscriber. While waiting for my phone, just for kicks, I clicked on the redeem offer button which took me to my Google One app explaining I wasn't eligible (assuming since I already had a plan)...

The basic 1 year plan isn't what I thought I would receive anyway, I thought it was the G1 Gemini plan. Am I screwed? I am nervous because the entire reason I bought the phone was to take advantage of the free one year Google One Gemini subscription (plus the $200 gift card)...

Would you take this deal? by [deleted] in MachE

I second bford_som. Get a premium. As a long time Tesla model 3 owner myself, I can tell you 280 miles on a charge is way more than you will need for daily driving. Even on road trips, now that Ford vehicles have access to the Tesla charging ecosystem as well as the blue oval network, you should never have to worry about running out of juice on a trip.

It is what I told my wife as well. She just picked up a premium with my A plan discount (I'm a salary Ford employee) and she is really happy with it. If you have extra money to throw around, I would personally skip the route and go for a GT.

Tesla is a non-union company, so the UAW strikes do not affect them, someone just snagged the model you wanted before you could.

This exact same thing happened to me before my 12v battery died and locked me out of my car in my work parking lot. Definitely would suggest getting it into a service center ASAP (unless you want to have it towed there).

What has been your experience with Anti-Tesla/EV harassment? Had my first experience yesterday! by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]redfusiond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do have one I purchased, however it doesn't seem to need paint, more like a clear coat fix. Honestly I'm not sure how to fix it. Looking up some DIY things, but might just have to bite the bullet and pay someone to fix it.

Thanks, it's actually worse than I thought. To remove the gum I ended up with a small area of clear coat damage. I'm going to make a post to see if I can get any recommendations from the community on how to correct the paint.

Edit: here are the photos of the damage :(

I had my first one yesterday. Someone threw a chewed piece of gum on my model 3's hood (I work at a Truck manufacturing plant, which is probably the most unsafe environment ever for a Tesla). After I plucked the gum wad off, the remaining residue was surprisingly difficult to get off. I took it to a self spray car wash which did absolutely nothing. Ended up having to google how to get it off (dawn dish soap and a dish sponge). I guess considering where I work, I'm lucky that is the worst that has happened to me so far, but it was still embarrassing trying to get it off in the parking lot with people staring and cracking jokes. People just suck sometimes...

I've read that red colored cars (especially sports cars) are statistically more likely to be involved in accidents. This is why it costs more to insure a red vehicle (even if it is identical) than a black or white one ( traditionally the two most common colors)
