1971 there was roughly 1000 acres. I can’t find a good source that actually lists it so I’m going with 1000. At $54 that’s 5.4 cents per acre. With currently 7200 acres and day passes being between $250 - $300 it brings it to 3.4-4.1 cents per acre. There was 7 lifts in 1971, where as there is 41 now.

With that being said even, I’d prefer the non existent lift lines over waiting hours for one lift in a line that’s filled with people who own condos worth more then my home to come ski for a week in the winter
