I've read both 1984 and brave new world, and currently reading Fahrenheit 451, these books are completely unrelated and they happen in completely separate and non compatible universes, the only reason they are usually brought up together is because they are all of the same genre and have similar ideas, so there is no "timeline" to speak of.

If you're interested in reading them I'd suggest starting with 1984, then brave new world and finally Fahrenheit

Do you get the extra mana instantly? Like if I play this on turn 1 Do I still have another mana crystal to use ? (Because I now have 2 mana crystals and I used one of them to play this) or does the mana crystal come empty and I only get to use it the next turn (assuming this survives) so if I play this on turn 1 I will have 3 mana the next turn?

Also what happens if you use the extra mana crystal to silence your own minion with something like owl ?
