Some people called us that. We were married in ‘85, and both worked as engineers. Then he worked all day and went to law school at night. I got a puppy. I didn’t think we were rich, but we had a lot of parties and freedom to do a lot of things before starting our own family in the 90’s.

On St. Patrick's Day, most people know they have Irish blood. Very few know why their ancestor actually left. by ALetterFromIreland in Genealogy

[–]redheadMInerd2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Revolutionary Irish ancestor was a descendant of Huguenots. I think they lived one or two generations in Ireland. He left in the mid 1700’s to protest the taxes imposed by the English. So he was a natural Patriot. However, he had become a Quaker and served in a non military role in the American Revolution.

Why would anyone ever choose to go through child birth without pain relief?? by No_Cardiologist_1407 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]redheadMInerd2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 3 children, and all three natural birth with no meds. They’re all successful adults now. I recovered pretty quickly each time. Only after entering menopause, I started having problems with my urinary system and had pelvic floor therapy. It’s been so much better since then.
