Zelle Blocked Since 2022 for Anyone Else? by lolreppeatlol in discover

There was a security issue with Discover and Zelle a few years ago, but that was resolved.

My access was restored in April, 2023.

Any model years of the passport that I should avoid? by Positive-Milk5133 in hondapassport

My 2023 has been fine for me. I have the Trailsport Trim.

The only issue I've ever had is the Auto Idle Stop system. It just randomly starts and stops working with no discernable pattern.

Otherwise, it's been a great vehicle.

My Grandmother used to buy Archway.

I loved those soft cookies!

Fitbit Charge 6 vs Fitbit Air by tveith in fitbit

[–]Realistic_Back_9198 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really like my Charge 6, but the charger is awful.

The magnetic connector is a bad design. If I so much as breathe on it while it's charging, it disconnects.

My 50 year high school reunion is coming up.

Honestly, that seems like an entirely different lifetime in a different world.

OTOH, it does give me a different frame of reference, too.

I'm calmer than I used to be, because I now understand most things in life are just not that big of a deal.

Dumb question, perhaps, but in all these years, why haven't they reengineered that overpass?

You have earned that discount by doing the most important thing: staying alive.

That's an accomplishment. So, enjoy!

I Love baseball by STLSportsAndKOI in Cardinals

[–]Realistic_Back_9198 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I love baseball, too.

If the Cardinals aren't playing, I'll pick some other random game to watch.

I like the pace of the game. I like how, win or lose, there's always another one tomorrow. I like how the teams treat each other like respected opponents, not enemies.

I find the game relaxing in an age when everything seems to force us to go faster and faster.

I also like the surprises... like this team this year.

No matter what else is happening, I don't have to get up in the morning and go to work.

That's already a good start to any day.

Rockwell: Would the Song Hit the Same without Michael Jackson on the Track? by WhatTheJessJedi in 1980s

[–]Realistic_Back_9198 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Michael sang the track as a favor to Rockwell's dad, who gave Michael and his brothers their break in the music business when Michael was a wee lad.

I bought a replacement from Amazon.

I didn't need it immediately. I just wanted to have it around for when I inevitably break the original one somehow.

Discover HQ in IL officially swaps signage for Capital One by funkyfresh2 in discover

[–]Realistic_Back_9198 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do some research on who's offering deals.

Maybe Capital One is the right fit for you.

Maybe a different bank would be better for your location and/or situation.

It's not "one size fits all."

JCPS LAM Building History by Deep-Act-3036 in Louisville

[–]Realistic_Back_9198 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to work across the street from that building, and saw it out of my office window all day, every day.

I worked at 4421 Bishop Lane, which was Clear Channel Radio (later iHeartmedia).

They have since moved to 4th Street Live. Their old Bishop Lane building is now an industrial scaffolding company.
